From a business need to a tool used on the ground
Horus started with observing dispatch teams at work and talking with users. The first step was to understand their day-to-day work before designing the tool.
From mapping workflows to design, development and integration with existing systems, each stage was shaped by user testing and ongoing improvements.
Initially focused on dispatch, Horus later expanded to cover stocktaking and health, safety and environment (HSE).

I’m Kristofer, a C#/.NET developer by training. I started programming because I enjoyed solving problems. Over time, I realised that what motivates me most isn’t simply writing code, but understanding how people work and finding ways, together, to make their day-to-day work easier.
I enjoy seeing a job first-hand, asking questions, understanding how people and tools interact, and identifying what could be simplified, automated or better connected.
The solution then takes shape through conversations with users: sharing an initial idea, testing it against their reality, refining it and gradually building something they find useful.
That way of working became KATEOS.
